"Sujatha" is no more ...

Sujatha passed away few hours back. Here is the news.

I've been out of touch... I just came to know about Sujatha's passing away after reading your blog.

As a pre-teen, I was a big fan of En Iniya Iyandhira and its sequel, Meendum Xeno, both of which were serialized in Ananda Vikatan.

I didn't like the sequel as much as the original - which was pretty original (for a pre-teen!) by the way. I think there were plans of making a TV serial out of EII, not sure if it panned out. Even if it did, it would've been a lame duck, except for the music by V.S. Narasimhan.

Sad that one of the few original thinkers who wrote in Tamil is no more.
