Worship

Dogen, a Zen Buddhist, had written this poem.
Worship
A white heron
Hiding itself
In the snowy field,
Where even the winter grass
Cannot be seen.

1. I have just come across this brief commentary on worship. But it is better to allow our minds to wander around the poem and then spiral towards the core of the poetry.

2. There are wonderful images of winter grass here.
